What's New

To: Caroline Grossinger and Gary Grossinger:
I just wanted to send a quick note to share my experience at Grossinger Hyundai.
I had been shopping around for a crossover SUV/SUV for the past week. Hence, I’ve been through various sales pitches and the constant pressure to buy the car on the spot. However, what made me purchase a brand new Santa Fe at your location is because of the Sales Representative and the Sales Manager who assisted me with the purchase.
The Sales Representative, Alex, was very polite, helpful, considerate and pleasant. We initially looked at the Tuscan but realized that it didn’t meet our needs. Alex was very helpful! He just wanted to help me and my wife pick the right car and at no point did I feel that he was being pushy or aggressive, a feeling that most car buyers feel. After helping me and my wife pick the right car, the Sales Manager, Brian was very helpful in making sure that the SUV met our price range.
Overall it was a pleasant experience working with the entire team and I will certainly recommend this location to others.
Thank you!

A service mechanic of Grossinger Cadillac in Lincolnwood, Russ Villano, became an instant local hero after helping to resuscitate an 83 year old man who had collapsed from a cardiac incident. Villano was on his way to pick up a car at Grossinger’s auxiliary lot when he noticed the elderly man lying on the sidewalk.
Villano found the man to be barely breathing, with only the slightest trace of a pulse. He then quickly sprung into action, calling upon the CPR training he had received some twenty years ago. He asked another bystander to call 911, and continued his CPR until paramedics arrived at the scene.
Villano later learned that the 83 year old man had been suffering from a cardiac incident. EMS workers informed him that the man had survived and had undergone a procedure to implant a pacemaker and an automatic defibrillator at St. Francis Hospital, Lincolnwood.
According to Fire Chief Mike Hansen, Villano “was in the right place at the right time,” and the 83 year old man “got a guardian angel and good EMS help after that.” Grossinger Cadillac couldn’t be more proud of their employee turned local hero.

Dear Caroline,
Thank you so much for facilitating the six-month loan of the new Chevy van for our Green Youth Farm and Windy City Harvest programs. It provides much-needed transportation of staff and materials to locations throughout the Chicago area.
These outstanding programs serve high-school students and young adults from underserved areas of the city and give them an opportunity to break out of a cycle of poverty and unemployment. It is inspiring how involved the participants become, how hard they work throughout the year, and the enormous pride they take in their accomplishments and knowledge. The lessons they learn provide an important foundation for them and will benefit their community in the future.
With warm thanks,
Sophia Siskel
